Terms of Service

Last updated: April 26, 2026

Welcome to Fixly. By using the app you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Using Fixly

You must be at least 13 years old to submit reports. You agree to provide accurate information when creating reports and to use the service in compliance with local laws.

1b. City Admin Accounts

By creating a city admin account, you confirm that:

  • You are an authorised representative of the municipality or organisation named in your workspace and have the authority to bind it to these Terms.
  • The information you provide at signup (organisation name, country, city size, admin name and work email) is accurate and kept up to date.
  • You will keep your login credentials confidential and are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and workspace.
  • You will notify us promptly at support@fixly.solutions of any unauthorised access or suspected breach.
  • You will only invite team members who are entitled to access citizen reports for that city, and you will revoke access when they leave.

Each workspace starts with a 14-day free trial. We do not collect a payment method at signup. Continued use after the trial may require an active subscription as described on our pricing page.

We may suspend or terminate admin accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the service, or are inactive for an extended period.

2. Your reports

  • Only submit reports about real, observable city issues.
  • Do not include personal information about other people in photos or notes.
  • You grant Fixly and the receiving city a license to use submitted content to triage, resolve, and document the issue.

3. Prohibited use

No spam, harassment, false reports, scraping, reverse-engineering, or attempts to interfere with the service or other users. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

4. No warranty

Fixly is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that any specific report will be resolved or resolved within a particular timeframe — that depends on the city.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fixly will not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

6. Workspace Lifecycle (Cities)

City admins can manage their workspace's lifecycle from the dashboard's Settings page. The following actions are restricted to a city's admins:

  • Deactivate: temporarily disables citizen reporting for the city while preserving all data. The workspace can be reactivated at any time.
  • Request permanent deletion: initiates a 14-day grace period after which the workspace and all associated data (reports, users, alerts, history) are permanently deleted. This action requires typing the city name to confirm and cannot be undone after the grace period ends.

Deletion requests can be cancelled during the 14-day grace period by contacting support@fixly.solutions. Each city is responsible for fulfilling any data-retention obligations it owes to its residents before requesting deletion.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
